Le Salon 1861 has hosted over 100 events of various sizes during the past year. Our events intend to spark purpose-driven dialogue while serving as a neutral ground to gather our diverse and vibrant community.
Events have ranged from small (1-20 people) meetings and university class year end presentations, to hosting 100 people for Startup Weekend on Sustainable City Building initiatives. The Weekend gathered entrepreneurs and university students around one common challenge; to create companies that address sustainable city initiatives.
There have been hackathons, workshops, meetings for local residents, and startup entrepreneurship initiatives. The space is easily re- arranged for up to 200 people creating options for outside groups to use the space for Impact while providing a regular re source to potential collaborators and tenants for Salon 1861. The space also has available a projector, microphone and speakers for larger groups.
