About – The Foundation invests in the creation, growth and continued support of promising businesses to contribute to the economic development of Montréal. Since 1996, the Foundation has awarded more than $6,7 million in grants to help the start-up of 853 businesses in Montréal that have, in turn, generated over 2,754 jobs. They generate combined annual sales of more than $250 million in Montréal.
Involvement in Le Salon 1861 – A major player in the entrepreneurial ecosystem over the past 20 years, the Fondation collaborates with many organizations to help the next generation of promising Montreal entrepreneurs get their businesses off the ground. As such, the Fondation is proud to be associated with the Salon 1861 which is an innovative, entrepreneurial hub that also stimulates dialogue and collaboration within the community.
The Fondation’s involvement with the Salon 1861 will focus on networking events and offering training workshops for entrepreneurs.
